New Frontiers in European Studies:
UACES Student Forum 12th Annual Conference

University of Surrey, Guildford, 30 June - 1 July 2011

 

This two-day conference aims to provide a friendly environment in which postgraduate students can gain experience of presenting research and develop contacts with other researchers in their field. The conference is aimed at research students of all levels and proposals are welcome from students working in the field of European Studies within various disciplines.

 

The event is supported by the European Commission and travel and accommodation will be subsidised for papergivers.

Registration for the conference is now closed.

 

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE

Travel will be reimbursed up to £100 for those presenting papers. If you would like more information about this please contact Tomas Maltby.

 

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will be covered for those presenting papers. UACES has reserved rooms for two nights (on the Wednesday 29 June and Thursday 30 June) in University Court on campus.

Getting to Guildford

Guildford mainline railway station is reached from London Waterloo. Very frequent train services run to and from London, a journey of approximately 35 minutes. Reading, with connections to the Midlands, the North and the South West is a 15-minute journey.

 

Guildford can also be reached by direct train from London Gatwick Airport in just under 40 minutes.
